KremsChem Austria GmbH was founded in 1948 and was well known as Krems Chemie for more than 50 years. In 2001 the company was renamed to Metadynea Austria GmbH and in 2014 it was integrated into the Sorcy Investments Trust. In September 2024, the company was renamed KremsChem Austria GmbH. KremsChem is the regional market and technology leader for resins, as well as a specialist in fine chemicals, surfacing materials and flame retardants.
