Sustainable mobility starts right on our doorstep. This is why KremsChem Austria GmbH is sponsoring the “Elsa” electric community bus in Egelsee, once again demonstrating its commitment to the local community and environmental responsibility.
The “Elsa” electric community bus is an innovative mobility project run by a non-profit association and operated by volunteer drivers. Since June 2025, the eight-seater electric vehicle has been connecting Egelsee and the surrounding villages with the city of Krems, providing residents with a flexible, convenient and environmentally friendly transport option.
As a company with strong regional roots, KremsChem considers it a natural responsibility to support initiatives that create both environmental and social benefits. The “Elsa” electric bus brings people together, makes everyday journeys easier and clearly demonstrates how innovative mobility solutions can be successfully implemented through volunteer commitment.
“For us, sustainability means not only conducting business responsibly but also supporting forward-looking projects in our local community. The ‘Elsa’ electric community bus is an excellent example of how environmentally friendly mobility and social cohesion can successfully go hand in hand,” emphasises Dr Michael Kunz, Managing Director of KremsChem Austria GmbH.
We are delighted to support this important project as a partner and wish the entire electric community bus team continued success and many safe journeys ahead.
